I am an older, new Wii user. I bought the Wii only a couple of months ago, and this is one of my first "games" for it (after a pinball game and the Wii Fit). I am not a skiier, nor will I ever be, but I love this game. It is challenging and fairly intuitive. Flying down the slopes seems pretty realistic, especially in a dark room.

There are numerous little mini-challenges within the game, and the user can earn points that reflect his/her ability to ski in the game. By taking the "ski school" at the beginning, I was able to learn to control the game and procede fairly quickly through the basic stages.

I am the only player in the house, so it is nice to have computer competitors in the races and challenges. When my kids come home at Christmas, I plan to sucker them into playing with me. I own the Wii Fit board, and it does work with the game, but since I seem to like to walk around while I'm playing it, the board isn't a particularly interesting addition for me.
