There are a lot of negative opinions about this game, but I think overall it is a good game and a great workout. I really like that it shows calories burned. You can choose how long you want to work out and what areas you want to work on. It is really important to have good lighting. However most of the tome on certain moves, like the v-step and turn step, it will say "watch your arms!" or some annoying comment. You just can't be a perfectionist and realize that the camera is not perfect and as long as you know you are doing it right don't worry so much about your score. fun, makes me exercise, i can watch t.v. a movie, or listen to radio while I do my aerobic portion. it monitors me. does not yell out my weight - actually never shows it unless I hit weight. just does the intitial bmi which is totally cool. so i came up obese, i wasn't shocked. really fun training games. great yoga moves, strenth training/pilates moves. highly recommended, ecspecially since going to the gym just isnt working. my 14 month old loves to watch it.

I got the original EA Active for the Wii for Christmas and found it to be a very good upgrade (at least in difficulty of exercises) to the Wii fit. My one complaint was with the resistance band which is way too "light". I ordered the Wii Activ3 Workout Kit for the resistance bands. I was fine with the leg strap that came with the game, so I didn't really care that the kit came with a new one of those as well. I now use the new strap exclusively. I would occasionally have trouble with EA's strap sliding down: I've never had that happen with the Wii Activ3 strap (I've used it for 6 workouts as of this writing). The best feature of the kit though is the resistance straps. I use the red (highest resistance) and black (lowest resistance) straps together and find that I can make ALL of the resistance exercises difficult with this combination. And I can still rotate in the gray band (medium resistance - in case you haven't been keeping track) if the red/black combo becomes too easy. My expectations of the product were that I would get resistance bands that would give me a decent workout and a leg strap I'd toss in a corner somewhere. It turns out I got even more than I'd hoped for.
